How to Find Us

Our location is one of our best features. From our photo galleries you can see we are, quite literally, on the beach. Tolcarne is part of what is know as Newquay Bay. At low tide over a mile of sandy beaches are exposed, whereas at hightide the headlands create three seperate beaches know as Towan, Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze.

Situated in the middle of these three beaches, Kahuna enjoys panoramic views reaching from the Pentire headland to Tolcarne Bay. There's nowhere else in Newquay where you can dine this close to the ocean.

Getting to Kahuna

Walking - The Steps

Kahuna is situated on Tolcarne Beach. There are two beach access paths. If you wish to take the steps, walk along Narrowcliff (away from the town centre) and directly opposite the ?? Hotel you will a series of blue rainlings on the beach side of the road. At the end of the blue railings there is a small blue gate, and blue sign. Go through the gate and take the steps all the way to the bottom. As soon as you turn the corner you will see Kahuna to your right.

Walking - The Slope

If you walk past the blue gate mentioned above and carry on walking, following the path to the left, you will be able to walk down the winding cliff road to Tolcarne Bay. Once at the bottom follow the path past the parked cars and Kahuna is situated on your right, just as you see the access ramp to the beach.

Driving

If you plan or driving to Kahuna, you will need to park as near as possible and take one of the methods above to get onto the beach. Because of our unique location we cannot offer any parking on the beach. We reccoment you try the Pay and Display parking behind the Bristol Hotel, which is less than 2 minutes walk from Tolcarne Bay.
